Welcome…

For many years Henry Loubet had a vision of living in the Napa Valley and producing the best Cabernet Sauvignon possible. In 1998 to realize this dream Henry bought 20 acres of prime property in the heart of the Napa wine country near St. Helena called “Woodcreek”.

The land is idyllic, peaceful and serene with a picturesque stream running through it; a tributary of the Napa River. Lush landscaping and dreamlike gardens were a spectacular addition to the surrounding vineyard making this an enchanting retreat. The lovely gardens were created by famous landscape architect, Chet Moore, who was the prior owner.

vin_houseIt was here that Henry joined winemaker Art Finkelstein, the founder of Judd’s Hill, to create the wine of his dreams. Art enjoys the reputation of being one of the finest boutique winemakers in the Napa Valley region for 25 years. The result of this collaboration is the outstanding premium Loubet Cabernet wine. In 2008 Henry added olive oil to Loubet Vineyard’s offerings. Named after Henry’s son, Max Olive Oil is produced from trees growing right on Woodcreek.

Though Woodcreek seems like hundreds of miles from civilization, it is a mere 3.5 miles from the heart of St. Helena, where some of the finest restaurants, shops and galleries in the Napa Valley are located. Woodcreek is slightly more than a mile from the famous Meadowood, a 5-star Napa Valley resort, with tennis, golf and a fine spa.
